Onion Gravy

gluten-free dairy-free

I red onion, sliced
1 white onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 x 15 ml spoon (1 tablespoon) olive oil
1/2 pint vegetable stock
Freshly ground black pepper

What to do:
  1. In a saucepan, gently fry the onions and garlic in the olive oil until softened and beginning to brown.
  2. Add the stock and simmer gently for 10 minutes.
  3. Serve immediately with your favourite meat or vegetarian dish.
