Ingredients:
I red onion, sliced
1 white onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 x 15 ml spoon (1 tablespoon) olive oil
1/2 pint vegetable stock
Freshly ground black pepper
What to do:
- In a saucepan, gently fry the onions and garlic in the olive oil until softened and beginning to brown.
- Add the stock and simmer gently for 10 minutes.
- Serve immediately with your favourite meat or vegetarian dish.
